I suggested that he google the term Los Angeles auto repair and see what that returns in the search results. One good way to find a good mechanic is from word of mouth and customer recommendations. Look for sites that have ratings from customers and also keep your ears open for what people you know are saying about different mechanics.He told me he owns a Ford Explorer and has been extremely happy with  it but feels that it needs some attention now.

My friend had told me that he feared that possibly the head gasket was in need of being replaced. I told him that the only way to truly be able to tell would be to let a trained mechanic run some diagnostics on the automobile itself.
